01

Asset first-read

Understand an unfamiliar asset from scratch in one pass.
Invite
You are helping me understand a digital asset I know nothing about. Using ONLY the research file at https://digitalassetdatabase.com/assets/{{slug}} and the pages it links to, answer in this order and stop:
1. In two sentences a non-specialist would follow, what is this and what is it for?
2. Where do fees come from, who pays them, and who receives them? If there are none, say so plainly.
3. What is the supply picture — circulating, total, maximum, and how much dilution is still ahead?
4. Which three figures on the page are the most load-bearing, and what is the stated period and source of each?
5. Which three of the listed risk factors are most relevant to THIS asset and why?
6. What is missing from the page, and what would you need to answer the question properly?
Do not give investment advice, a price view or a recommendation. Where a figure is blank, quote the reason given rather than filling it in.
02

Ratio interrogation

Pressure-test a valuation multiple before you rely on it.
Invite
I am looking at {{metric}} for {{asset}} on https://digitalassetdatabase.com/assets/{{slug}}/valuation.
Read the metric's definition page at https://digitalassetdatabase.com/metrics/{{metric_key}} and then:
1. Restate what the ratio measures in one sentence, using the site's own period wording.
2. List every input that goes into it and where each input comes from.
3. Name the three most likely ways this particular ratio is misleading for this particular asset, using the limitations text as a starting point and going further.
4. Say what a like-for-like comparison set would be, and which assets should NOT be in it.
5. State what the ratio cannot tell me at all.
Do not tell me whether the asset is cheap or expensive. That is not what the ratio does.
03

Peer set builder

Assemble a comparison group that is actually comparable.
Invite
Build a comparison set for {{asset}} using https://digitalassetdatabase.com/assets/{{slug}}/competitors and https://digitalassetdatabase.com/screener.
Rules: every member must share the same accounting basis (chain-basis assets with chain-basis assets, application-basis with application-basis — the site states which on the Fundamentals tab). Exclude any asset whose fee stream is under a year old. For each candidate give: the reason it belongs, the single figure that makes it comparable, and the single figure that makes the comparison imperfect.
Finish with the assets you rejected and why. No ranking, no verdict.
04

Risk walk-through

Turn the risk register into questions for a specific asset.
Invite
Using https://digitalassetdatabase.com/assets/{{slug}}/risks and the framework at https://digitalassetdatabase.com/risk, produce a checklist for {{asset}}.
For each listed risk factor: restate the mechanism in one sentence, then write the single most useful QUESTION I could ask to find out whether it applies here, and name the specific figure, filing or disclosure that would answer it. Group by family and put the families where evidence is actually obtainable first.
Do not rate the risks. Do not conclude anything about the asset.
05

Numbers audit

Check whether a claim you have read elsewhere survives contact with data.
Invite
I have read this claim: "{{claim}}".
Using only https://digitalassetdatabase.com pages, tell me:
1. Which figures on this site bear on the claim, and what each one is, with its period.
2. Whether those figures support, contradict or simply do not address the claim.
3. Which part of the claim cannot be checked from public data at all, and why.
4. What the claim would need to be rewritten as, to be a statement that could be checked.
Quote the site's period and source wording exactly. Do not fill gaps with your own knowledge; say the gap exists.
06

Beginner translation

Rewrite a page for someone who has never bought a digital asset.
Invite
Take https://digitalassetdatabase.com/assets/{{slug}} and rewrite it for a reader who has never owned a digital asset. Constraints: no jargon without an immediate plain-English gloss; every number keeps its period; no metaphors involving gold, tulips or the internet in 1995; under 500 words; end with the three things this reader would need to learn next and the /learn pages that cover them. State clearly that nothing in the rewrite is advice.
07

Sector sweep

Map a sector before picking anything out of it.
Invite
Using https://digitalassetdatabase.com/sectors/{{sector}} and the screener, map this sector:
1. How many assets, and what share of the sector's capitalization sits in the top three?
2. Which members generate measurable fees, and which generate none? Give the split.
3. What is the range of the main valuation ratio across the members that have one, and which members are excluded from that range because a leg is missing?
4. Which single figure best separates the members from each other, and which figure everyone quotes but which does not separate them at all?
Neutral description only. No selections and no ordering by preference.
08

Data provenance trace

Follow any figure back to where it came from.
Invite
For the figure {{figure}} shown on https://digitalassetdatabase.com/assets/{{slug}}, trace it end to end:
1. What is the stated period and observation time?
2. Which provider is named, and what does https://digitalassetdatabase.com/data-sources say about that provider's coverage and cadence?
3. What does https://digitalassetdatabase.com/methodology say about how this class of figure is computed?
4. If this is a calculated figure, what are its inputs and where does each come from?
5. What would make this figure wrong, and what would I check to find out?
Answer only from these pages. If a step is not documented, say so.
