1. Acceptance

By visiting, using, or viewing Digital Asset Database (the “Site”) you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with them, do not use the Site.

2. Informational purpose only

All content on the Site is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on the Site is intended to be investment advice, nor does it represent the opinion of, counsel from, or recommendations by Digital Asset Database or any of its affiliates, operators, or partners. None of the information contained herein constitutes a recommendation that any particular digital asset, security, portfolio, transaction, or investment strategy is suitable for any specific person.

3. Not a registered adviser; publisher’s exclusion

Digital Asset Database is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, exchange, custodian, or financial planner in any jurisdiction, and does not offer custody, execution, brokerage, or advisory services of any kind.

Digital Asset Database is a publisher of general and impersonal research and commentary. It relies upon the publisher's exclusion from the definition of “investment adviser” provided under Section 202(a)(11)(D) of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, as amended, and corresponding state provisions. Consistent with that exclusion, the Site publishes only bona fide, regular, and impersonal information of general and disinterested character; it does not provide advice tailored to the individual circumstances, objectives, financial situation, or needs of any reader, and no such tailored advice should be inferred from any part of it.

4. No warranty as to data

Data on the Site is obtained from third-party providers named on the Data sources page and from calculations performed on that data. Quote data is delayed and indicative. On-chain, protocol, and fund data is periodic and may be revised by its provider. Data may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or superseded. The Site, its data, and all content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Always verify against primary sources before acting on anything you read here.

5. Limitation of liability

All viewers agree that under no circumstances will Digital Asset Database, its operators, partners, officers, employees, affiliates, or agents be held liable for any loss or damage caused by your reliance on information obtained here. This includes, without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, or digital assets, whether based in contract, tort, statute, or any other legal theory, and whether or not any of the foregoing parties were advised of the possibility of such loss.

6. Risk acknowledgement

Digital assets are volatile and speculative. They can and do lose all of their value. They may be subject to operational, technological, custodial, counterparty, liquidity, market, tax, and regulatory risks, and the legal status of a given asset or service may change without notice in your jurisdiction. Past performance of any asset is not indicative of future results. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and for obtaining professional advice appropriate to your circumstances from a licensed adviser in your own jurisdiction.

7. Permitted use

You may read, print and quote from the Site for personal and internal research use, with attribution. You may use the public JSON interface for non-commercial purposes at a reasonable request rate, attributing each figure to the provider named in the response. You may not scrape the Site at a rate that degrades it for others, redistribute the underlying data as a substitute product, present figures as live when they are not, or strip the reference period and attribution from any figure you republish.

8. Intellectual property

The text, structure, definitions, educational content, code and design of the Site are the property of its operators. Underlying market and protocol data remains the property of the providers named on the Data sources page and is used subject to their terms. Third-party names, marks and logos appearing on the Site are the property of their respective owners and their appearance does not imply any endorsement or affiliation.

9. Third-party links and advertising

The Site links to third-party websites and may display third-party advertising. We do not control, verify, or endorse those sites or advertisements, and their inclusion is not a recommendation of any product, service or asset. Any dealings you have with a third party are solely between you and that third party.

10. Affiliate disclosure

The Site does not currently participate in affiliate programs and receives no compensation for any link on it. Should that change, links that generate compensation will be disclosed clearly at the point of the link, in accordance with the United States Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and testimonials, and coverage decisions will remain unaffected.

11. AI-assisted content

Portions of the Site's content and data compilation are produced with AI-assisted research and are labeled where used. Figures are indicative and may be out of date. Always verify with primary sources.

12. Changes and termination

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site, including data coverage and these Terms, at any time. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of it. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remainder continues in force.
