How to read this file. Each tab answers one question. Overview is the summary. Price is what it has done. Fundamentals is what it earns. Tokenomics is what happens to supply. Valuation puts the two together — with the limits of doing so stated. Every figure shows the period it was measured over and who published it.

What this is

TRON is a Layer 1 blockchain launched in August 2017 that describes itself as a decentralized operating system intended to accelerate the shift of internet infrastructure away from centralized control. It functions primarily as a global settlement layer for stablecoins and supports high-volume decentralized applications. The network targets developers and users who need fast, large-scale transaction processing without the fee volatility associated with older blockchain designs.

TRON uses a Delegated Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism in which TRX holders vote to elect 27 Super Representatives who are responsible for validating transactions and maintaining the ledger. Rather than charging fees denominated purely in currency, the network uses a resource model built around two units — bandwidth and energy — that are consumed when transactions are processed, with TRX staked by users providing access to those resources. The protocol is compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine, meaning smart contracts written for Ethereum can be migrated to TRON with relatively little modification.

TRON generated 25,893,033 USD in fees over the trailing 30 days and 364,762,575 USD over the trailing 12 months, with a single-day figure of 871,119 USD recorded in the most recent 24-hour period. The take rate stands at 100 percent over the trailing 30 days, meaning the protocol retains all fees collected and none flows to supply-side participants such as liquidity providers; supply-side revenue for the trailing 30 days is recorded as zero. Fee growth over the last 30 days was negative 8.02 percent, meaning the pace of fee generation declined during that period. The market capitalization-to-fees ratio, calculated against fees annualized from the trailing 30 days, stands at approximately 100.95.

What to Expect From Tron (TRX) in September 2026

Any TRON price prediction for September 2026 must start with a contradiction. Network usage sits at record highs, yet TRX just lost a trendline that held since February.
