30-Day Total Return
Percentage change in the asset's price over the trailing thirty days.
This compares today's composite price with the composite price thirty days ago. It is the shortest window over which protocol-level changes, such as a fee parameter change or an emissions cut, can plausibly show up in price. It remains a price return and excludes staking rewards, airdrops, and fork distributions.
Come viene calcolato
(price now / price 30 days ago - 1) x 100
Dove può trarre in inganno
A thirty-day window very often contains exactly one discrete event, a cliff unlock, a major venue listing, or the launch of an incentive program, and the return then reports that event rather than any underlying trend. A rolling thirty days is not a calendar month and will not tie to any monthly report or index rebalance. For assets that added or lost a major venue during the window, part of the change is a coverage change rather than a price change. Staked positions accrue rewards over a month that this figure omits entirely.
Il confronto con l'equity, e perché non regge
One-month total return; equity monthly returns are computed between official month-end closes and include dividends, whereas this uses a rolling continuous series and excludes staking issuance.
Come leggere un valore alto o basso
A positive figure means the price is above where it stood thirty days ago and a negative figure means below. Check whether a single dated event sits inside the window before reading it as a trend.
