The dollar value moved on the blockchain itself in the last day.
The sum of value transferred in confirmed transactions, converted at the current price. It measures settlement on the network rather than trading on exchanges.
Waar het misleidt
On UTXO chains it counts change returned to the sender as if it were a payment, and exchanges shuffling their own wallets appear as settlement. The figure therefore overstates genuine economic transfer, sometimes by a wide margin.
