API belgelerini okuyunAvalanche is a layer-1 smart contract blockchain designed to process transactions at high throughput while keeping costs low and energy consumption modest. It competes in the same space as other programmable blockchains, aiming to give developers a fast foundation on which to build decentralized applications and financial services. The platform positions itself as a general-purpose network suitable for anyone who wants to deploy or use applications that run without a central operator.
Avalanche secures its network through a proof-of-stake consensus protocol in which validators lock up AVAX tokens to participate in confirming transactions. The network reports a block time of essentially zero minutes in the stored data, reflecting its sub-second finality design rather than a traditional fixed block interval. AVAX is used to pay transaction fees on the network and to meet the staking requirements that allow validators to earn a nominal staking yield, currently recorded at 3.36447 percent.
The network collected 99,726 dollars in fees over the trailing 30 days and 5,296,699 dollars over the trailing 12 months, with fees annualized from the 30-day figure producing an estimate of 1,213,333 dollars per year. Fees are paid by users submitting transactions and, because the take rate is recorded at 100 percent with supply-side revenue at zero over the trailing 30 days, the entirety of fees collected are treated as protocol revenue rather than being passed to liquidity providers or other external parties. The ratio of market capitalization to those annualized fees stands at 2,621.73, giving a sense of how the current market value compares to the fee activity the chain is generating. Fees grew 6.8 percent over the last 30 days.
