Capricorn
ما هذا
Capricorn, ticker APR, is a decentralized finance application built on high-performance blockchains including those in the BNB Chain and Monad ecosystems. It aims to solve the problem of disorderly and often exploitative trade routing in decentralized markets by acting as an intelligent coordination layer for order flow. Traders and liquidity providers are the primary intended users, as the protocol tries to ensure that ordinary orders are handled efficiently while more complex or risky orders are routed differently.
At the core of Capricorn is an Order Flow Segmentation Engine that classifies incoming trades in real time, then a flow-aware routing engine that sends benign orders to efficient liquidity pools and steers riskier orders along more resilient paths. The protocol also captures maximal extractable value, or MEV, and redistributes a portion of that captured value to stakers and validators, aligning their incentives with the health of the network. The APR token lives within this system as the instrument through which stakers receive a share of that redistributed value.
The protocol generated fees of 204 dollars over the most recent 24-hour period, 1,270 dollars over the trailing seven days, and 5,634 dollars over the trailing 30 days, implying an annualized fee run rate of 68,547 dollars. Of the 5,634 dollars in 30-day fees, the protocol retained 810.24 dollars as revenue, representing a take rate of roughly 14.4 percent over that period, with the remaining 4,823.76 dollars flowing to supply-side participants such as liquidity providers and stakers. Fee volume grew 9.09 percent over the last 30 days, while protocol revenue grew 25.2 percent over the same window, suggesting the protocol's own share is expanding relative to total fees.
