Convex Finance
これは何か
Convex Finance is a decentralized finance application built on Ethereum that sits on top of the Curve protocol, a major liquidity and stablecoin exchange platform. It addresses a practical barrier for Curve users: to earn the highest available yield on Curve, a user normally has to lock their CRV tokens for up to four years, which ties up capital. Convex pools that locked stake on behalf of many users so that individual liquidity providers can receive boosted rewards without locking anything themselves.
Users deposit Curve liquidity-provider tokens into Convex, which holds a large collective position of locked CRV, allowing everyone in the pool to share in the boosted yield that would otherwise require personal long-term lockups. CVX is the native token of the protocol and is earned by participants; holding and locking CVX gives users a share of the fees the protocol collects and a vote in governance decisions, including how the protocol directs its accumulated Curve voting power — a feature sometimes called metagovernance. The protocol lives entirely on Ethereum and has no independent consensus mechanism of its own.
Convex generates fees from the yield activity passing through its platform, recording 2,713,209 USD in fees over the trailing 30 days and 30,400 USD in the most recent 24-hour period; annualizing the 30-day figure produces approximately 33,010,709 USD. The protocol's take rate over the trailing 30 days was 45.49 percent, meaning it retains roughly that share of gross fees as protocol revenue, with the remainder flowing to liquidity providers as supply-side revenue. Over the trailing 30 days, holders of locked CVX received 1,186,077 USD in revenue, while supply-side participants received 1,478,863 USD; trailing 12-month protocol revenue was 12,982,598 USD. Both fees and revenue fell sharply over the most recent 30-day window, declining 60.78 percent and 62.43 percent respectively.
