Cortex

Cortex is a decentralized finance protocol built across the Solana, Ethereum, and Base ecosystems that aims to bring artificial intelligence agents on-chain. It is designed for users who want to research tokens, execute trades, or interact with blockchains through a large-language-model interface, as well as for developers who want to deploy task-specific agents with on-chain capabilities. The project positions itself as infrastructure for a future in which AI agents, rather than human interfaces, account for the majority of blockchain activity.

Cortex has two main components: a generalized trading agent that lets users query information and transact through a conversational AI interface, and an open platform where developers can permissionlessly deploy their own on-chain agents. The protocol is also developing Hypercall, an on-chain options product built on top of Hyperliquid.
