How to read this file. Each tab answers one question. Overview is the summary. Price is what it has done. Fundamentals is what it earns. Tokenomics is what happens to supply. Valuation puts the two together — with the limits of doing so stated. Every figure shows the period it was measured over and who published it.

What this is

edgeX is a decentralized trading application built on its own EDGE Chain that lets users trade perpetual contracts across commodities, equities, and cryptocurrency markets, as well as spot markets, around the clock without giving up custody of their assets. It targets traders globally who want access to multiple asset classes through a single onchain venue rather than a traditional, centralized exchange. The protocol is backed by Circle and settles natively in USDC.

edgeX operates on its own purpose-built chain, EDGE Chain, which handles matching and settlement for both perpetual and spot markets. The EDGE token sits within the Ethereum ecosystem and serves as the protocol's native asset, with a portion of fees flowing to token holders as holder revenue. The data records the protocol through the edgeX Bridge, which connects the application to broader liquidity.

The protocol generated 82,404 USD in fees over the most recent 24-hour period and 3,216,134 USD in fees over the trailing 30 days, with annualized fees from that 30-day window coming to 39,129,630 USD. Of those fees, the protocol retained 2,330,968 USD as protocol revenue over the trailing 30 days, implying a take rate of approximately 72.5 percent over that period. Token holders received 613,194 USD in the trailing 30 days, while the supply side — liquidity providers and similar participants — received 885,166 USD over the same window. Fee yield, expressed as annualized fees relative to current market capitalization, stands at 36.4 percent.
