How to read this file. Each tab answers one question. Overview is the summary. Price is what it has done. Fundamentals is what it earns. Tokenomics is what happens to supply. Valuation puts the two together — with the limits of doing so stated. Every figure shows the period it was measured over and who published it.

What this is

Flare is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain designed to let developers build applications that communicate with other blockchains and with ordinary internet data sources. The problem it addresses is that most smart contract platforms are isolated from external information and from assets living on other chains, forcing developers to rely on centralized bridges or oracles. Flare targets developers who want to build cross-chain or data-dependent applications without introducing a single point of failure in how that external data is sourced.

Flare runs two native protocols baked into the network itself: the Flare Time Series Oracle, which coordinates a large set of independent data providers to deliver price and data feeds on-chain without a centralized intermediary, and the State Connector, which allows smart contracts to consume verified information from other blockchains and the wider internet. Because these systems are secured by the network validators rather than by a separate service, they inherit the security of the base layer. The FLR token is the native asset of this chain, used to pay transaction fees and to participate in the data-provision and governance mechanisms that keep those protocols running.

Flare generated 558 USD in fees over the trailing 24 hours, 4,333 USD over the trailing 7 days, and 21,458 USD over the trailing 30 days, giving an annualized fee run-rate of approximately 261,072 USD based on the most recent 30-day period. The market-cap-to-annualized-fees ratio stands at 2,186 and the fully diluted valuation to annualized fees ratio stands at 2,677, both reflecting how large the network's valuation is relative to its current fee generation. Fee growth over the trailing 30 days was negative 17.82 percent, meaning the protocol collected less in fees at the end of that window than at the start. Who ultimately receives these fees — validators, data providers, a treasury, or token holders — is not specified in the data held by this site.
