Pirate Chain
O que é isto
Pirate Chain is a cryptocurrency designed to keep every transaction private by default, meaning no participant can see the sender, recipient, or amount involved. It targets anyone who wants financial transactions shielded from public view, arguing that privacy systems which make shielding optional are weakened by users who choose not to use it. Pirate Chain addresses this by making private transactions mandatory for all peer-to-peer transfers on its network.
The network reaches agreement through Proof of Work using the Equihash algorithm, producing a new block roughly every one minute. Privacy is enforced at the protocol level using zk-SNARKs, a form of zero-knowledge cryptography that validates transactions without revealing their contents. The ARRR token is the native unit used to send value across this shielded network.
The data stored for Pirate Chain does not include a protocol fee stream, revenue figures, or any record of fees collected by the network or distributed to miners or other participants beyond what standard Proof of Work block rewards entail. As a result, fee-based measures that this site calculates for other assets are not available here. Approximately 98.11% of the supply has already been issued as of the point-in-time snapshot, with around 1.93% remaining to be distributed, giving a fully diluted value to market-cap ratio of 1.019296, meaning the outstanding supply overhang is small.
