How to read this file. Each tab answers one question. Overview is the summary. Price is what it has done. Fundamentals is what it earns. Tokenomics is what happens to supply. Valuation puts the two together — with the limits of doing so stated. Every figure shows the period it was measured over and who published it.

What this is

Ripple USD (RLUSD) is a US dollar stablecoin issued by Standard Custody & Trust Company, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ripple Labs. Each unit is designed to maintain a value of one US dollar and is backed by at least an equivalent amount of US dollars and other cash equivalents. It is aimed at financial institutions, enterprises, and developers who need a regulated, dollar-denominated instrument for cross-border payments and general digital-dollar access.

RLUSD exists simultaneously on the XRP Ledger and the Ethereum blockchain, meaning tokens can settle on either network depending on where they are used. The peg is maintained through a reserve model in which the issuer holds fiat collateral equal to or greater than the tokens in circulation. No consensus algorithm or block time is recorded in the data for RLUSD itself, as it is a token that relies on the underlying networks it is issued on rather than operating its own chain.

The data stored for RLUSD does not include a fee stream attributed to the protocol, so fee-based measures such as revenue or protocol earnings are not available on this site for this asset. The stablecoin model is generally structured around the issuer rather than the token itself, meaning any income from holding reserves would accrue to Standard Custody & Trust Company rather than being distributed through on-chain mechanics. The circulating supply stands at approximately 2,382,328,853 tokens at the point in time recorded, with stablecoin circulating supply measured slightly higher at approximately 2,397,653,881 over the same snapshot, and supply has changed by negative 1.047 percent over the trailing 30 days.
