Terra
Tentang ini
LUNA is the native token of the Terra blockchain, a decentralized platform built to host applications and provide financial tools for a community-governed, decentralized economy. Following the collapse of the original Terra chain and its algorithmic stablecoin, a community governance vote established a new Terra chain without a stablecoin, and LUNA serves as its foundational asset. The project targets developers and users who want to build or interact with decentralized applications on a proof-of-stake network.
Terra operates using a Delegated Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism built on the Tendermint engine, where 130 independent validators are responsible for comparing and confirming transactions to maintain the integrity of the blockchain. Token holders who do not wish to run their own validator node can delegate their LUNA to one, and all participants who stake are subject to slashing — a penalty that removes a portion of staked tokens — if a validator acts dishonestly or goes offline. Users pay gas fees in LUNA to interact with decentralized applications on the network, and those fees flow to validators and delegators as compensation for securing the chain.
The fee stream on Terra comes from gas fees paid by users when they submit transactions or interact with applications on the network, with those fees distributed to validators and the token holders who delegate to them. The data on this page does not record a protocol-level fee capture figure, so fee-based measures commonly used on this site are not directly available for Terra. What the data does show is a total value locked of 4,083,702.66 USD at the current point in time, a market-cap-to-TVL ratio of 9.322722, and a fully diluted valuation-to-TVL ratio of 15.582511, both of which reflect the relationship between the market's current sizing of the asset and the capital actually deployed in the ecosystem.
