Theta Fuel
Bu nedir
Theta Fuel (TFUEL) is the operational token of the Theta network, a decentralized video delivery and smart contract platform built in the United States. It functions as the gas of the Theta blockchain, meaning users spend TFUEL to pay for actions such as deploying smart contracts or compensating node operators who relay video streams to other viewers. The protocol targets content creators, streaming platforms, and developers who want to move bandwidth and media delivery onto a decentralized infrastructure.
Theta operates using a Proof of Stake consensus model, and TFUEL is the native token that settles every on-chain transaction. When a viewer watches a stream, relayer nodes share that stream with nearby peers and earn TFUEL as payment, reducing the load on traditional content delivery networks. TFUEL lives natively on the Theta blockchain, where it also covers the cost of interacting with smart contracts deployed on the platform.
TFUEL is earned by relayer nodes each time they forward a video stream and is spent by users and developers who interact with smart contracts or pay for streaming services on the network. The circulating supply stands at approximately 7.5 billion tokens, representing 99.997 percent of the supply that has been issued, with a dilution overhang of just 0.006 percent, meaning almost no additional tokens are pending issuance. Because no specific protocol fee revenue figures are stored in this dataset, fee-based valuation measures that this site might otherwise calculate are not available here.
