Yield Basis
Tentang ini
Yield Basis is a decentralized finance application whose token trades under the symbol YB and is active on both the Ethereum and BNB Chain ecosystems. It is designed for people who hold Bitcoin and want to put it to work as liquidity inside an automated market maker pool, but who are concerned about impermanent loss, the value erosion that typically comes from doing so. The protocol claims to neutralize that impermanent loss while still allowing liquidity providers to collect trading fees.
Yield Basis operates as a DeFi application rather than its own blockchain, so it has no consensus algorithm of its own and relies on the underlying networks it is deployed on. Users deposit BTC into the protocol's automated market maker pools, which facilitate token swaps and generate trading fees in the process. The YB token exists within this system and, based on the data stored here, is associated with holder revenue, suggesting it plays some role in distributing a portion of fees to token holders.
Fees are generated by trading activity inside the protocol's liquidity pools and are paid by users who execute swaps. Over the trailing 30 days, total fees collected were 44,836 USD, of which the protocol retained 4,344 USD as protocol revenue — a take rate of approximately 9.69 percent over that same period. Supply-side revenue, meaning what went to liquidity providers rather than the protocol, was 40,492 USD over the trailing 30 days. Annualizing from those 30-day figures produces fees of 545,504 USD and protocol revenue of 52,852 USD, and fees grew 12.98 percent over that 30-day window.
