How to read this file. Each tab answers one question. Overview is the summary. Price is what it has done. Fundamentals is what it earns. Tokenomics is what happens to supply. Valuation puts the two together — with the limits of doing so stated. Every figure shows the period it was measured over and who published it.

What this is

Curve DAO, whose token is CRV, is the governance token of Curve Finance, a decentralized exchange built specifically for swapping assets that are meant to trade at or near the same value, such as stablecoins and wrapped tokens. The protocol exists to let users exchange these like-priced assets with minimal price slippage, which is a persistent challenge when using general-purpose decentralized exchanges. It is used by individual traders seeking low-slippage stable-asset swaps and by other DeFi protocols that need deep liquidity for stablecoin and pegged-asset pairs.

Curve Finance uses an automated market maker model with a bonding curve formula tuned for assets that should hold the same price, concentrating liquidity tightly around parity to reduce slippage. Liquidity providers deposit tokens into pools — such as the 3CRV pool containing DAI, USDT, and USDC — and earn a share of the swap fees generated by that pool, as well as CRV token emissions distributed as yield farming rewards. CRV holders can lock their tokens to receive voting power over protocol governance decisions, including which pools receive CRV emissions, giving the token a direct role inside the system.

Curve Finance generates fee revenue from swap activity across its pools, paid by traders and shared with liquidity providers and, under governance decisions, the protocol treasury. The data provided does not include an explicit fee rate or total fee figure, so no fee-based yield or revenue measure can be quoted here. What the data does show is a 24-hour turnover of 13.18 percent and a 30-day average turnover of 14.74 percent, both measured as trading volume relative to market capitalization, which reflect how actively the circulating supply of CRV is being traded rather than the fee income of the underlying protocol.
