How to read this file. Each tab answers one question. Overview is the summary. Price is what it has done. Fundamentals is what it earns. Tokenomics is what happens to supply. Valuation puts the two together — with the limits of doing so stated. Every figure shows the period it was measured over and who published it.

What this is

Rain is a decentralized options and prediction-markets protocol running on the Arbitrum network, a layer-2 blockchain built on top of Ethereum. It allows anyone to create and trade custom options or prediction markets without requiring permission from a central authority. The protocol is aimed at traders and market creators who want access to on-chain derivatives and speculative markets outside of traditional, gatekeeper-controlled venues.

Rain operates on Arbitrum and uses two types of markets: public markets resolved by Olympus AI's oracle agent, and private markets where the creator acts as the resolver. The RAIN token sits at the center of the economic model through a burn mechanism — 2.5% of total trading volume is used to purchase and permanently remove RAIN tokens from circulation, making the supply deflationary over time. Token holders also participate in protocol governance through a decentralized autonomous organization, and the protocol incorporates account abstraction to simplify the user experience.

Fees are generated by trading activity on the protocol. Over the trailing 30 days, the protocol collected 281 USD in total fees, and over the trailing 12 months it collected 1,506,387.78 USD in fees. Protocol revenue — the share retained after paying liquidity providers and other supply-side participants — was just 2.00 USD over the trailing 30 days and 986,184.29 USD over the trailing 12 months, with the 30-day fee growth and revenue growth both recorded at negative 100%, meaning fees and revenue effectively fell to zero in that recent window. The revenue yield and holder revenue yield are both 0.0% on an annualized basis relative to market capitalization, meaning token holders currently receive no direct revenue distribution from the protocol.
