Tellor Tributes
Qué es esto
Tellor Tributes (TRB) is the native token of Tellor, a decentralized oracle network built primarily for Ethereum and compatible blockchains including Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Gnosis Chain, and Manta Network. The core problem Tellor addresses is that smart contracts are self-contained and cannot natively access data from the outside world, such as asset prices or other real-world information. Tellor creates a system where anyone can request off-chain data points, which are then supplied on-chain and made available to decentralized applications.
When a data point is needed, parties use Tributes to submit a request, and a network of staked miners competes to provide the correct value, with staking creating an economic deterrent against dishonest reporting. The protocol records each accepted data submission as part of a time series stored on-chain, so any smart contract can read it. The token therefore serves two roles inside the system: it is the medium through which data requests are paid for, and it is the collateral that miners lock up to participate honestly.
The data in this profile does not include a fee revenue stream, so fee-based measures such as price-to-fees or protocol earnings are not available on this page. Tributes are spent by data requesters and earned by the miners who successfully supply data, meaning value flows between participants in the network rather than accumulating to a central protocol treasury in a way that is captured here. The circulating supply stands at approximately 2,831,516 TRB against a market capitalisation of roughly 50.7 million USD, and because no maximum supply is recorded, the long-run dilution ceiling is undefined. About 97.5 percent of supply has already been issued, with roughly 2.6 percent remaining pending, leaving a modest dilution overhang at this point in time.
