How to read this file. Each tab answers one question. Overview is the summary. Price is what it has done. Fundamentals is what it earns. Tokenomics is what happens to supply. Valuation puts the two together — with the limits of doing so stated. Every figure shows the period it was measured over and who published it.

What this is

VeThor Token (VTHO) is the gas token of VeChainThor, a public Layer-1 blockchain built for enterprise and consumer applications that need to record and verify real-world data on-chain. Its specific job is to pay for transactions and smart-contract execution on the network, separating that cost function from VET, which is the network's primary value-transfer and staking asset. This dual-token design aims to let network operators adjust transaction-fee parameters without those changes being directly tied to movements in the price of VET.

VeChainThor processes blocks at a reported interval of effectively continuous throughput, and validators and delegators who stake VET earn newly issued VTHO as block rewards following the December 2025 Hayabusa mainnet upgrade, which replaced the older passive-generation model. When a user submits a transaction or runs a smart contract, VTHO is spent as the fee and the base-fee portion of that VTHO is burned, meaning the circulating supply of VTHO shrinks with network activity and grows with staking rewards. VTHO has no fixed maximum supply, so the balance between issuance and burning determines whether the total in circulation expands or contracts over time.

Fees on VeChainThor are denominated in VTHO and paid by anyone submitting transactions or executing smart contracts; the base-fee component is permanently burned rather than redistributed, while validators and delegators receive newly issued VTHO as their reward. The circulating supply stands at approximately 103,241,112,321 VTHO at this point in time, and because there is no maximum supply cap, the supply_pending_pct metric registers just 0.001213 percent, reflecting the negligible fraction of supply in any locked or scheduled-release category. The fdv_to_mcap ratio is exactly 1.0, which is consistent with an open-ended supply where no large tranche of tokens sits outside the circulating figure waiting to enter the market.
