How to read this file. Each tab answers one question. Overview is the summary. Price is what it has done. Fundamentals is what it earns. Tokenomics is what happens to supply. Valuation puts the two together — with the limits of doing so stated. Every figure shows the period it was measured over and who published it.

What this is

Zilliqa is a Layer 1 blockchain network, launched on 31 January 2019, whose native token is ZIL. It was designed to address the throughput and congestion problems that have historically affected older blockchain networks, with its white paper targeting transaction speeds far higher than those of Ethereum. Its intended users are developers and applications that require a high-volume, low-congestion settlement environment.

Zilliqa's defining architectural feature is sharding, a technique that divides the network's miners into smaller groups that process and verify transactions in parallel rather than sequentially, allowing throughput to scale as the network grows. The network uses an Ethash consensus algorithm, the same family used by earlier proof-of-work Ethereum. ZIL is the token used to pay for computation and transactions on the network, and it also appears within the BNB Chain ecosystem according to the classification data.

The protocol collected 2.07 USD in fees over the most recent 24-hour period, 17.09 USD over the trailing 7 days, and 49.53 USD over the trailing 30 days, with fee growth of 11.29 USD over that same 30-day window. Annualizing the trailing 30-day figure produces a run rate of 602.62 USD, and the trailing 12-month total stands at 7,016.77 USD. These fees are paid by users submitting transactions to the network. The fee yield — annualized fees expressed as a percentage of market capitalization — is 0.001439 percent, reflecting a very small fee stream relative to the network's current market value of 42,148,677 USD. The protocol hosts zero stablecoin supply at this point in time.
