| Native Asset | Tokens & Supply | The built-in asset of a blockchain itself, used to pay transaction fees and, on proof-of-stake networks, to secure the network. |
| Net Asset Value | Institutional Access | The per-share value of everything a fund holds, minus what it owes, calculated at one set time each day. |

| Node | Foundations | A computer running blockchain software that stores the chain, checks new blocks against the rules, and relays them to peers. |
| Node Client Diversity | Consensus & Security | How evenly a network's nodes are spread across independently written software implementations of the same rules. |
| Non-Fungible Token | Tokens & Supply | A token whose units are individually distinct, so each one has its own identifier and cannot be swapped one-for-one. |
| Nonce | Cryptography | A number used once; in mining it is the value that is changed while guessing, and in accounts it counts a sender's transactions. |
| Nothing-at-Stake | Consensus & Security | A theoretical weakness of early proof-of-stake designs in which validators could back every competing chain at no cost. |
