All-Time High
The highest price the asset has ever recorded in the data provider's price history.
The all-time high is the maximum of the composite price series the provider maintains, from the point coverage began to the present. It serves as the reference point for drawdown measures. Because it is one observation rather than an average, it depends heavily on which venues the provider trusted at the moment the high was printed.
Dónde induce a error
A single spike on a thin or now-defunct venue can set an all-time high that no meaningful size ever traded at, and a different provider that excluded that venue will show a materially different number. Token prices are almost never adjusted for supply events, so an all-time high recorded before a redenomination, a contract migration, or a chain split is not expressed in the same unit as today's price. For assets that emerged from a hard fork, part of the recorded history may belong to a different network entirely. Nominal dollar highs from many years ago are also not inflation-adjusted, which matters for the oldest assets.
La comparación con renta variable y por qué no funciona
All-time high on a listed equity; equity price history is adjusted for splits and, in total-return series, for dividends, while token history is rarely adjusted for redenominations, migrations, or forks.
Cómo interpretar un valor alto o bajo
The all-time high marks the highest price ever recorded, no more than that. It is a single historical observation and carries no information about whether that price will be reached again.
