Percent Below All-Time High
How far the current price sits under the highest price the asset has ever recorded, in percent.
This figure divides the current price by the all-time high and expresses the shortfall as a percentage. It is the most widely quoted framing of where an asset stands relative to its own history. Its entire meaning depends on the quality of the single print that set the high.
इसकी गणना कैसे होती है
(price / all-time high - 1) x 100
यह कहाँ भ्रमित करता है
The measure is fixed to one observation in the entire history, so an erroneous or extremely thin print sets the reference permanently and no later market activity corrects it. Two assets showing the same percentage below their highs can be in completely different situations: one set its high years ago under a different supply schedule, the other last month. Where a token migrated contracts or redenominated, the historical high is not measured in the same unit as the current price, making the percentage arithmetic invalid. It also ignores staking rewards, airdrops, and fork distributions, so it overstates the shortfall for a position that accrued any of those.
equity की तुलना, और यह क्यों विफल होती है
Percentage below the 52-week or all-time high in equities; equity figures are computed on split- and dividend-adjusted series, while this one is a raw price comparison across possibly incompatible units.

A larger percentage means the last traded price is further beneath the highest price ever recorded. It describes distance from a past observation and contains nothing about future prices or about whether that past high was itself representative.
