Đọc tài liệu APIAave is a decentralized lending and borrowing protocol that lets users deposit cryptocurrency to earn interest or use their crypto holdings as collateral to take out loans without an intermediary such as a bank. It operates across more than twenty different assets and is accessible to anyone with a compatible wallet. The protocol addresses the problem of accessing liquidity from crypto holdings without needing to sell them, and of earning a return on idle digital assets.
Aave pools deposited assets into smart contracts, and borrowers draw from those pools by locking up collateral worth more than the amount they wish to borrow. The AAVE token serves as a governance instrument, giving holders the ability to vote on protocol parameters such as which assets are listed and how risk settings are configured. The protocol does not have its own blockchain or consensus algorithm; it runs as an application layer on top of several existing networks including Ethereum, Avalanche, Polygon, Solana, and the BNB Chain ecosystem.
Fees are generated by the interest borrowers pay on loans drawn from Aave's liquidity pools. Over the trailing 30 days the protocol collected 31,114,543 USD in total fees, of which lenders who supply liquidity received 26,796,848 USD as supply-side revenue, while the protocol itself retained 4,317,695 USD as protocol revenue, implying a take rate of approximately 13.88 percent over that same 30-day period. Annualizing from the trailing 30 days, total fees come to roughly 378,560,273 USD, and fee growth over the last 30 days was 20.2 percent while revenue growth was 17.92 percent. The market capitalization divided by annualized fees stands at 5.12, and annualized fees as a percentage of market capitalization are 19.53 percent.
