How to read this file. Each tab answers one question. Overview is the summary. Price is what it has done. Fundamentals is what it earns. Tokenomics is what happens to supply. Valuation puts the two together — with the limits of doing so stated. Every figure shows the period it was measured over and who published it.

What this is

Flow is a layer-one blockchain built specifically for consumer-facing applications and digital assets, with a particular focus on NFTs, sports collectibles, and mainstream user onboarding. It was designed to address the difficulty of building high-throughput, user-friendly decentralized applications on earlier blockchains, where congestion and complexity made consumer adoption difficult. The intended users are application developers and the everyday consumers they want to reach.

Flow operates on a Proof of Stake consensus mechanism and uses a distinctive multi-role architecture in which different node types handle collection, execution, verification, and consensus separately, rather than requiring every node to perform every task. This separation is intended to improve throughput without sacrificing decentralization. The FLOW token is used to pay transaction fees on the network, participate in staking, and interact with smart contracts written in Cadence, Flow's purpose-built programming language; the network also offers full EVM equivalence, meaning Ethereum-compatible contracts can run on it as well.

Flow collects fees from users who submit transactions to the network; over the trailing 12 months those fees totalled approximately 2,256 dollars, and over the trailing 30 days they came to roughly 353 dollars, with an annualized projection from that 30-day window of about 4,289 dollars. The protocol recorded zero revenue over the trailing 12 months, meaning none of the fee collected was retained by the protocol itself as tracked in the stored data. Fee activity did grow by roughly 131 percent over the last 30 days, though the absolute dollar figures remain very small. The ratio of market capitalization to annualized fees stands at approximately 12,452, reflecting how modest the current fee volumes are relative to the network's overall size.
