Wyoming adds Chainlink reserve verification to state-issued stable token
Wyoming is using Chainlink to bring near-real-time reserve verification onchain for FRNT as the oracle provider expands its footprint across tokenized financial markets.

Lees de API-documentatieChainlink is a decentralized oracle network whose token, LINK, launched on 16 September 2017 and trades under the symbol LINK with a circulating market capitalization of approximately 8.6 billion dollars. It addresses the oracle problem: blockchains cannot natively read data from the outside world, so Chainlink acts as a secure, tamper-resistant bridge that feeds real-world information — asset prices, event outcomes, reserve balances — into smart contracts. Its intended users are developers and protocols building applications that depend on reliable external data.
Independent node operators fetch data from off-chain sources, aggregate their responses to reach consensus, and deliver a single verified answer to the requesting smart contract on whichever blockchain the contract lives. Chainlink is not itself a standalone blockchain and has no block time or native consensus algorithm of its own; it operates as a middleware layer across many chains simultaneously, including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Avalanche, Polygon, and Near. LINK is used within the network to pay node operators for their data-delivery services and to serve as a stake that operators can put at risk to signal honest behavior.
Chainlink generated 4,818,282 dollars in fees over the trailing 30 days and 62,684,125 dollars over the trailing 12 months, paid by protocols and developers who consume oracle services. Of those 30-day fees, 4,534,131 dollars flowed to protocol revenue, implying a take rate of approximately 94 percent over that period, with the remaining 284,151 dollars going to supply-side participants such as node operators. The fee yield, measured as annualized fees over market capitalization, stands at 0.68 percent, while the market-cap-to-fees ratio is 147.4 times and the fully diluted valuation-to-fees ratio is approximately 197 times, both based on fees annualized from the trailing 30 days.
