How to read this file. Each tab answers one question. Overview is the summary. Price is what it has done. Fundamentals is what it earns. Tokenomics is what happens to supply. Valuation puts the two together — with the limits of doing so stated. Every figure shows the period it was measured over and who published it.

What this is

RE is the governance token of the Re Protocol, an internet-native marketplace that connects capital providers with reinsurance activity carried out through licensed insurance entities. It aims to address the opacity and fragmentation that have historically made it difficult for outside capital to participate in reinsurance markets, by making collateral, reserves, and selected operating data verifiable on the Ethereum blockchain. The protocol is designed for capital providers who want exposure to reinsurance activity and for participants who want to govern how the protocol evolves.

Re Protocol operates on Ethereum and routes capital into fully collateralized reinsurance positions handled by licensed entities, while using blockchain infrastructure to make key financial data publicly verifiable onchain. The RE token itself does not underwrite risk or set prices; instead it grants holders voting rights over protocol upgrades, technical permissions, committee formation, reporting standards, incentive policy, and governance procedures. Underwriting, claims, and regulated decisions remain entirely with qualified professionals outside the token governance scope.

The protocol generated 1,529,963 in total fees over the trailing 30 days and 10,490,823 over the trailing 12 months, with fees coming from reinsurance activity flowing through the marketplace. Of those 30-day fees, the protocol retained 12,424.75 as protocol revenue, reflecting a take rate of approximately 0.812095 over that period, while the remaining fees of 1,517,538.25 over the same 30 days went to the supply side, meaning capital providers. Protocol revenue grew by 9,900 percent over the last 30 days, though that figure should be read in the context of the small absolute base from which it rose.
