RE
Что это такое
RE is the governance token of the Re Protocol, an internet-native marketplace designed to connect capital providers with fully collateralized reinsurance activity carried out through licensed insurance entities. The protocol targets the reinsurance market, where large pools of capital are matched with insurance risk, by making collateral, reserves, and selected operating data verifiable on the Ethereum blockchain. It is aimed at both capital providers seeking access to reinsurance activity and participants who want transparent, onchain visibility into how that capital is deployed.
Re operates on Ethereum and uses blockchain infrastructure to record collateral and reserve data onchain, while actual underwriting, claims handling, pricing, and regulated operations remain with licensed professionals and entities. The RE token itself is a governance token, giving holders the ability to vote on protocol upgrades, technical permissions, committee formation, reporting standards, incentive policy, and governance procedures. It does not perform consensus functions of its own, as the protocol relies on Ethereum's underlying infrastructure for settlement.
The protocol generated 1,849,038 USD in fees over the trailing 30 days and 11,936,026 USD over the trailing 12 months, with fees annualized from the trailing 30-day figure reaching 22,496,629 USD. The take rate over the trailing 30 days was approximately 0.28 percent, meaning the protocol retained 5,134.07 USD in revenue over that same 30-day period against those gross fees, with the remainder — recorded as supply-side revenue of 1,843,903.93 USD over the trailing 30 days — flowing to capital providers. Protocol revenue growth over the last 30 days showed a change of negative 100 percent, meaning protocol-level revenue effectively reached zero in the most recent period even as gross fees continued to be generated.
