How to read this file. Each tab answers one question. Overview is the summary. Price is what it has done. Fundamentals is what it earns. Tokenomics is what happens to supply. Valuation puts the two together — with the limits of doing so stated. Every figure shows the period it was measured over and who published it.

What this is

Venus is a decentralized lending and borrowing protocol built primarily on the BNB Chain, with presence also on Arbitrum, Ethereum, and Optimism. It aims to let users supply digital assets to earn yield or borrow against their holdings without relying on a traditional financial intermediary. The XVS token is the governance and utility token at the center of this system.

Users deposit supported assets into Venus liquidity pools and receive interest-bearing tokens in return, while borrowers lock collateral and draw loans against it, with interest rates adjusting algorithmically based on pool utilization. XVS holders can participate in governance votes that control protocol parameters such as collateral factors and supported assets. The protocol runs on smart contracts and does not rely on a separate consensus algorithm of its own, settling on whichever underlying blockchain the user interacts with.

Venus generates revenue through the spread between borrowing and lending interest rates, with a portion of borrower interest typically reserved by the protocol treasury and the remainder distributed to suppliers. The data provided does not include explicit fee figures, so precise fee-stream amounts cannot be stated here. What is recorded is that the circulating supply stands at approximately 16.87 million XVS against a maximum supply of 30 million, meaning roughly 56.2 percent of the maximum supply is currently in circulation, and the fully diluted valuation is 1.76 times the current market capitalization at point-in-time measurement.
